Ms. Elmira Katebian is an attorney with Dental & Medical Counsel, PC focusing on transactional matters including employment contracts, leases and practice transitions for physician and dental practices. Prior to joining the firm, Elmira worked as an in-house attorney for a large healthcare management services organization for several years where she advised on all matters related to healthcare and corporate contracting, managed care negotiation and contracting, banking transactional matters, and business entity formation and management.
Ms. Katebian is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Italian Studies. Prior to becoming an attorney, Elmira worked in the mortgage industry as a Loan Processor and Loan Officer during the subprime mortgage boom and went on to attend the University of San Francisco School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor with a Pro Bono Certificate for her work dedicated to preventing financial crimes against the elderly.
In 2021, Elmira earned a Certificate in Health Law and Compliance through DePaul University. Ms. Katebian is a member of the California and New Jersey Bar, and a former (retired) member of the New York Bar.
