Ali Oromchian, JD, LL.M., is a nationally recognized healthcare attorney and founding attorney of Dental & Medical Counsel, one of the leading law firms dedicated exclusively to healthcare professionals. He advises dentists, physicians, optometrists, and veterinarians on complex legal matters including practice transitions, partnerships, employment agreements, estate planning, and regulatory issues. Ali is a frequent speaker and educator across the country, known for helping healthcare professionals navigate critical legal and business decisions witah clarity and confidence. His work focuses on simplifying complex topics and supporting clients through key moments in their careers and practices.

Mr. Jeff Brown is an attorney with Dental and Medical Counsel, with a legal and business background in real estate and financial services. He has served as chief legal officer for several national companies and as president and executive vice president of insurers and entities in highly regulated industries. His focus at Dental and Medical Counsel includes real estate and property leasing and regulatory review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the California Bar.

Mr. Young Choi is an attorney with Dental and Medical Counsel, with a legal background in general civil litigation, workers’ compensation subrogation, and criminal law. His focus at Dental and Medical Counsel involves litigation in state and federal court, administrative proceedings, and pre-litigation matters.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from U.C. Berkeley. He received his Juris Doctor from University of Southern California Gould School of Law.  Mr. Choi is a member of the California Bar and New York Bar.

Mr. Nikolas Antovich is an attorney at Dental & Medical Counsel (DMC), where he brings a unique blend of legal insight and industry experience to support healthcare entrepreneurs. Prior to joining DMC, Nikolas served as General Counsel for a private heavy engineering firm and served as both in-house and outside counsel for companies across the med-tech, medical device, biotech, and engineering sectors.

With a deep understanding of the complex challenges faced by innovative healthcare businesses, Nikolas is committed to helping clients navigate legal and regulatory landscapes with clarity and confidence.

Nikolas earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Oregon, and his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Nikolas is admitted to the California Bar.

Antoinette is an attorney with Dental & Medical Counsel where she handles business transaction matters on behalf of clients. Antoinette most recently served as Director of Legal Services for LifeLong Medical Care, a provider of comprehensive healthcare services in the San Francisco Bay Area. She served as Corporate Counsel for Anka Behavioral Health, Incorporated, an integrated behavioral health services provider. Throughout her career, she has advised organizations across multiple industries on a wide range of legal and litigation matters. Antoinette holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. In her free time, Antoinette enjoys volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

Melissa is a paralegal at Dental & Medical Counsel. She assists the firm’s attorneys with practice mergers and acquisitions. Her work includes analyzing, interpreting, recommending and drafting stipulations, obligations, and liabilities in a wide range of contracts.

Melissa’s experience in the litigation of breach of contract and other contract-related disputes ranging from trade secrets, unfair competition, non-compete enforcement and defense, collection and insurance disputes to patent, intellectual property, trademark infringement, copyright, corporate and partnership dissolutions, Melissa is able to foresee and help our clients avoid potential disputes and reduce financial risks that may arise.

Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and completed the American Bar Association (ABA) accredited paralegal program at John F. Kennedy University where she graduated with honors. She was inducted into the national paralegal honor society, Lambda Epsilon Chi in 2016. Melissa is now in law school pursuing her Juris Doctorate degree.

Outside of all things legal, Melissa enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her family and close friends.

Prior to Dental & Medical Counsel P.C., Aliciana was an Orthodontic Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator in the Dental field. Aliciana previously worked at a Pediatric Dental office while continuing my education in law at the same time. Working with kids and seeing their personal dental journey was amazing and something she will always cherish.Once Aliciana completed school, she accepted the Corporate Paralegal position here at Dental & Medical Counsel P.C. She assists the attorneys with practice start-ups and overseeing the processes of corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. Her work will include drafting contract provisions and annual minutes for client practices, corporations, and limited liability companies. Additionally, she will support clients through the trademark process. Aliciana is a helping hand on the litigation side assisting attorneys with requesting records and information that can help our clients’ cases.  Aliciana is a value-driven paralegal who will successfully support Dental & Medical Counsel and its clients.

Outside of her legal world, she loves to cook new food dishes, bake, dance the night away, and laugh with her loved ones. She loves to travel and explore new adventures and cultures. In the outdoors she loves to hike, swim, and wakeboard on the water. Danijela Basic is a Paralegal at Dental & Medical Counsel, where she supports attorneys in a wide range of legal matters serving dental and medical professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University and is currently furthering her legal education through the Paralegal Program at the University of Cincinnati.

With a strong academic foundation in psychology, Danijela brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to client matters and case management. She is committed to expanding her legal knowledge and contributing to the firm’s mission of providing exceptional counsel to healthcare providers.

Outside of work and school, Danijela enjoys cooking new recipes and spending time outdoors, especially hiking.

Lyndsey is the executive assistant for Ali at Dental & Medical Counsel. She attended the University of California at Davis with coursework in Biology. She excels in interacting with our clients and making sure their needs are addressed. Outside of the office she enjoys cooking and spending time with family, friends, and her son, Mattie.

Kunal is the Marketing Coordinator at Dental & Medical Counsel, PC. He graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona with a major in Marketing Management & International Business. He enjoys traveling around the world to new cities and countries. He loves new experiences and especially enjoys hiking, photography, and following the latest advancements in technology.

Honoria is the Marketing Specialist at Dental & Medical Counsel, where she supports and helps execute the firm's marketing initiatives, communications, and brand development efforts. Prior to joining the marketing team, she served as DMC's Front Desk Coordinator for over a year, gaining valuable insight into client service and the firm's operations. Honoria is passionate about creating positive client experiences and takes pride in her strong organizational and communication skills. Outside of work, she enjoys working on her cars and spending time at home with her two cats.

Jade Daily is a front desk coordinator at Dental & Medical Counsel where she provides administrative and client support while assisting attorneys with a wide range of legal matters. She holds an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, Arts and Humanities from Los Medanos College. Known for her strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills and dedication to helping others, Jade is committed to ensure that every client has a positive experience. Her professionalism, organizational abilities, and strong work ethic make her a valued member. Outside of the office, Jade enjoys singing in an acapella group called "Nseason", traveling and spending time exploring new experiences and cultures.
